Maple bowl with a charred finish. Found a log and made a bowl, then lit the torch! It had to make cracks and didn't know what to do with such a cool piece, turned out pretty cool. @ Rochester, New York

This bad boy is one of my favorite pieces I have made. It started out as most my pieces do, a log on the side of the road I picked up and turned into this one of a kind vase. The wood is a Maple that has been dyed a bright red. What gives the lightning effect is what's called lichtenberg wood burning, when 2000 volts of electricity is put through the wood and burns in the one of a kind pattern. This piece is still available as with lots others or a custom piece of your own, message me with any questions.

This piece started as a rough chunk of Maple and finished as this awesome resin art bowl/coin dish. I turned the flat bottom bowl and then poured a mix of blues and white resin to give it the unique swirl. This piece is available for purchase if interested message me.
