“A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.” — Rosalynn Carter
A couple of years ago, I was given the opportunity to step into leadership. I was honored that my mentors saw that potential in me and trusted me to train and develop future advisors. At the same time, I loved being a financial advisor—I loved my clients, I loved my business partner, and I wasn’t sure if I was ready to step away from the day‑to‑day work that had shaped me.
One of my mentors used to say, “You’re either all in or all out. If you keep one foot in and one foot out, it’ll never work.” And they were right. So at the end of 2024, I chose to jump in headfirst. I knew some days might feel like drowning, but I also knew it was my turn to pay it forward.
Six years ago, someone took a chance on me—one that I may not have fully earned at the time—and that single conversation in my parents’ basement during COVID changed the entire trajectory of my life. Because of that chance, I now have the best career in the world and get to work alongside the very best people.
Now, I’m excited for the opportunity to give that same chance to others. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to believe in you when no one else does.
Together, we will push each other to become the best versions of ourselves, serve our clients with excellence, and help thousands of people take control of their financial future.
The best is yet to come.

Another week, another Body Fuel smoothie!
This week I am specifically grateful for family. Family is extremely important to me and has been since I was a young girl. I am blessed to have grown up with two loving & supporting parents who went above and beyond every single day, and a sister who I get to call my best friend.
Growing up, Hannah was there for every win, every learn, and everything in between. Although she is younger, she has and continues to challenge my mindset and make me view the world in a different light. When she decided to go to Albany for college, the opposite end of the thruway than where I went to school in Buffalo, I remember thinking, "How am I going to go weeks at a time without seeing Hannah?" 4 years later, multiple hour long thruway drives, and now we both have started our careers in Rochester, NY.
Although Hannah is mostly remote, she still does some traveling and will be in the Rochester office every now and then. Last week I got the privilege of her staying the night and being apart of my every Friday Body Fuel Tradition. As life gets busier, I often find I struggle to balance all the important things & people in my life. My Dad will call, I say I will call back, and then the day gets away from me and now its 9:00pm and I never actually returned the call. Hannah will text me, I will see it when I am on a meeting, then the meeting ends and its 5 hours later and I never answered the text message. Life is always going to be busy, but in my opinion, it is always important to make time for the special people in your life. A phone call, a text message, or even a morning smoothie, can take 5 seconds or 5 minutes. We all have an extra couple minutes to spare to let the people in our life know that they matter and we are thankful for them.
A mindset I always try to live my life by is, you never know what's going on behind closed doors. Even the people who are always smiling and seem to be loving life, could be struggling when no one is around. We only know as much as people allow us to know. So with that being said, take the time to return the phone call to your Dad, smile at the stranger in the grocery store, and never forget how those little acts that require minimal time, can go a far way and can be the event that turns someone's whole day around.
