Infrared & Red light therapy, low-level light therapy (LLLT)

The some of differences: Infrared light can pe*****te deeper into the body than red light, reaching several centimeters below the skin’s surface. Red light therapy is often used for skin rejuvenation and pain management, while infrared therapy is often used for cardiovascular health and detoxification. Red light is also visible to the human eye, while infrared light is not.

Both of which can help horses recover from injuries and other ailments such as:

• Helps horses recover faster from injuries, muscle injuries, tendon and ligament injuries.

• Helps reduce stress in horses by reducing cortisol levels.

• Helps relax muscles, which can make horses looser and more supple especially for training and competition.

• Red light therapy can help with pain from injuries, joint discomfort, and muscle soreness - typically develops shortly after exercise. Often caused by things like tension, stress, and overuse.

•Infrared light therapy can help with chronic pain, joint stiffness, and muscle fatigue - which is a decrease in the ability to produce force or power when muscles contract. Can be caused by things like, aging, lack of exercise, muscle injury etc.

• Can help reduce inflammation by increasing circulation and releasing anti-inflammatory cytokines.

• Help stimulate collagen production, which is important for healthy joints.

Hoof problems: Red light therapy can help with hoof problems like laminitis, navicular, abscesses, and ringbone.

Extra notible mentions Red light therapy can help with: sore backs, arthritis, shoulders, strains, splints, stifle problems, tendons, and ligaments.
