You don’t have to do life alone.

This week we had the privilege of gathering with churches from across our Wesleyan District to celebrate all that God is doing throughout our region.

We are humbled and grateful to share that CityHope was recognized in four areas:

• Top 10 Churches in Making Disciples
• Top 10 Churches Increasing Discipleship Through Laity
• Top 10 Churches in Conversions to Christ (39 people saying “yes” to Jesus this year)
• District Discipleship Award

While we’re thankful for these recognitions, what excites us most is what they represent. They tell the story of lives being transformed, people discovering hope, families being restored, and ordinary people taking meaningful steps toward Jesus. These are not awards that belong to a pastor or staff team—they reflect the faithfulness, generosity, prayers, service, and commitment of an entire church family.

We were also thrilled to celebrate Pastor Hannah Bowersox and Maria Lazarus, both of whom were elected to serve on our District Board.

Serving on the District Board is a significant privilege and responsibility. Board members help provide spiritual leadership, wisdom, accountability, and vision for churches and pastors across our district. Their role helps strengthen local churches, support ministry leaders, and advance the mission of making disciples throughout our region. We are honored to have two CityHope leaders serving in this capacity.

As we reflect on this past year, we are reminded that every changed life, every baptism, every act of service, and every person who encounters Jesus is evidence of God’s faithfulness.
