Registered New York voters have multiple options to cast their ballots for the upcoming primary election, including the new Early Vote by Mail option and traditional in-person early voting.

Early Vote by Mail
Any registered voter may now request to cast their ballot early by mail without requiring a specific excuse.

Application by mail: Applications must be delivered to your county Board of Elections no later than 10 days before the election.

Application in-person: Applications can be submitted in person at your county Board of Elections up until the day before the election.

Submission deadlines: To ensure your vote is counted, your completed mail-in ballot must be postmarked by Election Day, or dropped off at a secure Ballot Drop Box located at any polling site during Early Voting or on Election Day.

In-Person Early Voting
In-person early voting will be available daily from Saturday, June 13, 2026, through Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Polling sites will operate on the following schedule:

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 PM (Noon) – 8:00 PM
