This weekend, Rochester Hope celebrated the grand opening of its addition, which will become the NEW STORE!

When the pantry opened in 2022, it originally expected to serve 100 families every week. Today, the pantry serves nearly 400 families every week, helping to bring food access to one of the most food insecure zip codes in New York State.

Featuring an at-grade entry and wider aisles, the expansion will accommodate more people and help shoppers to more comfortably navigate the space, allowing Rochester Hope to continue to provide a dignified experience as need for its services grows.

Rochester Hope's ability to continue to rise to meet the need of its community through the pantry's expansion was made possible through the generous funding of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, St Paul's Lutheran Church of Pittsford, Rochester Hope board members, and numerous community supporters.

The project was brought from concept to completion through the expertise and imagination of Hanlon Architects, Nichols Construction Team, Wegmans and many skilled local craftsmen.
