Took a little time this week to try my hand at watercolor lettering! Getting everything to blend the way you want it to is tough!⠀

Whenever I’m trying something new (either a technique or a new nib), my go to word is hello. I love the three big loops and because I don’t have to worry about the spelling, I can really concentrate on the style or tool I’m using!⠀

Hi friends! I was nominated to share 10 random facts about myself by so here it goes!⠀

1.) I love to bake 🍰 a few years ago, I thought about starting a baking biz on the side, but chose to focus on calligraphy instead! ⠀
2.) I have a bad nail biting habit, so I need to keep them painted at all times so I don’t bite them (probs tmi? Oh well we’re getting real today)⠀
3.) I always have a hair tie on my wrist (see photo for proof 🤦🏼‍♀️)⠀
4.) my favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh - I’ve read a few books on him and am working through a huge biography at the moment!⠀
5.) my favorite singer is . True story: I’ve had her reputation cd on repeat in my car for almost a full year now. No shame⠀
6.) I have an awful sweet tooth. If I could I would eat desserts for every meal every day ⠀
7.) my low key obsession is true crime 🙌🏻 fave podcast: I’ve also watched most of the true crime documentaries that are out there ✌🏻(any other podcasts I should check out??)⠀
8.) I got married last June, and it was the most perfect & magical day of my life⠀
9.) my husband and I love to hike, and we completed the Saranac Six as part of our honeymoon 🥾⠀
10.) I am always cold. Like always. I keep a blanket at work just in case I need an extra layer of warmth ⠀
