I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully passed Exam 5 of 7 on my journey toward earning the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
This latest course, Investments, was a deep dive into the principles and application of investment strategies within financial planning. Throughout the curriculum, I strengthened my ability to:
📈 Analyze risk, return, and portfolio performance
🏦 Understand market structure, securities laws, and asset classifications
🧠 Recognize behavioral biases and their impact on financial decisions
📊 Apply modern portfolio theory and attribution analysis
💼 Evaluate fixed-income, equity, alternative investments, and derivatives
📚 Assess valuation models and investment company structures
Each exam brings me one step closer to delivering even stronger, more holistic planning guidance in my career. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey and taking on the remaining two exams.
