Today we are honored to share something deeply meaningful.

The Koko Ed Patterson Memorial Fund has officially been established through the Rochester Area Community Foundation.

Created in loving memory of Edward G. “Koko” Patterson — FIRST Robotics Volunteer of the Year honoree — this fund will provide travel support to volunteers serving at FIRST Robotics events beyond their local communities.

Through this fund, Koko Ed’s legacy of encouraging and inspiring students, alumni, and volunteers will continue for years to come.

Koko Ed believed in showing up. He believed in welcoming new volunteers. He believed in going beyond what was expected — and helping others do the same.

We invite you to help us continue that legacy.
