Yes, we are open today! From 8 AM in Rochester and Royal Oak. Where else can you get a spectacular sourdough bagel: plain, salt, sesame, asiago, everything, jalapeño cheddar? They won’t last long!

Empty Bowls Sale: May 9, 2026 at Give Thanks Bakery Rochester.

The Empty Bowls Club was started at Cranbrook Schools in 2018, but it had a rough start. The first sale yielded only $45 which funded 90 meals through Gleaners Food Bank. Club members started meeting on Saturdays to produce JUST for Empty Bowls sales and to date, the proceeds have funded 90,200 meals in southeast Detroit and Pontiac. The goal is 100,000 meals this year. All work is student-made, glazed, and fired in the Cranbrook Kingswood studio. P.S. Empty Bowls Club hosted a sale at Give Thanks Bakery Royal Oak in 2024 and it was the most successful sale yet...can we beat it Saturday???
