7 PM John W Borek –Meet the Producer He’s produced a musical on Broadway for $7,000. He’s been interviewed in the New York Times. He’s revived the most notorious play in Broadway history. Meet Rochester’s greatest living producer, John W. Borek and pitch him your play, performance or idea for presentation at the MuCCC. Also appearing: Dead Producers David Merrick, Cheryl Crawford and Jed Harris.
9 PM Hosea Taylor’s SAX-Tacular! A saxophonist’s stories and memories.

8 PM When We Were Young, We Wanted to Live by Justin Rielly WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, WE WANTED TO LIVE (EDIT) High school life is never easy – the social and personal dramas walk side-by-side with the educational drive to go to college and to the real world. Yet it’s possible for memories of those days to shape the people we all become. Playwright Justin Rielly (American Enigma) stars in this one-man show about his high school days, and how they may have played an instrumental role in how his life has turned out.

Friday, September 21st
7 PM Black Sheep Theatre presents presents Act One of their current production, “Widowers’ Houses” by George Bernard Shaw. When young Dr. Harry Trench falls for Blanch Sartorius, he is quick to arrange for marriage. But when he learns that her father’s wealth is derived from slums and tenement houses in London, a crisis of conscience ensues in this dark comedy of the Victorian Era. Directed by Jim Landers, the production features Laura Pratt, Al Young, Dan Maslyn, Brad Files, Katharine Sanford and Kathy Coughenour.
8 PM Polite Company They’re funny… they’re witty…. they’re polite? Join Polite Company Improv & Sketch Comedy, for 50 mins of hilarity! They are encoring a few of their best sketches and of course plenty of improv. You will laugh.
9 PM The Professor of Rap presents The A-List. An open rehearsal of Cole Porter’s patter songs with Cassandra Kelly, Sandra Boysen, Greg Turner, Richard Storms, Spencer Christiano and John Borek.
10 PM Deadly Dames Burlesque with Jackie Moe Get ready for 90 minutes of Va-voom and hilarious sketch comedy! We like it shaken not stirred!
Saturday, September 22nd
2 PM Spencer Christiano in Mike Daisey’s The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs by Mike Daisey, directed by Kelly Webster. Released to the public domain as an open source play, the monologue tells the story of Daisey’s trip to Shenzhen, China, where he visited Foxconn factories under the guise of an American businessman.

9 PM Handmade Orchestra: Music you have never heard on instruments you have never seen” is the credo of The Handmade Orchestra. It is a group of musicians from professionals to beginners who have built instruments out of their imaginations.
10 PM Metal Quest: The First Emperor Come see !! this radical theater event conceived and directed by Jeffery Askins. This pantomime tragicomedy musical is based on the Life and Death of Qin Shi Huangdi (China’s First Emperor) … and on the Mystery and Magnetism of the Element METAL.
