As you clean out lockers, desks, cubbies and backpacks, remember to recycle right and keep reusable items out of the trash.

Perfectly good school supplies like markers, scissors, pens & pencils don’t belong in the trash. Save usable items for next year or donate supplies in good condition to help others.

The open house at Mill Seat Landfill is coming up next week! This family-friendly event offers a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to our garbage after it leaves the curb, including a bus tour of the landfill, information fair, plus free food and beverages.
