Community Foundation of Greater Rochester

The City of Rochester Hills- Government and the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester are collaborating on a project for the 3rd Annual RHISE Cup: a Bath & Body Drive!

The 2025 RHISE Cup participants collected and donated over 11,000 pounds of food to Neighborhood House as part of the Social Challenge Food Drive.

The 2026 RHISE Cup Social Challenge is a Bath & Body Drive: participating organizations will collect hygiene items to be donated to three local charitable organizations.

The Community Foundation of Greater Rochester is facilitating the application for these items on behalf of the City. Organizations interested in receiving a distribution of hygiene items from the Bath & Body Drive can apply to be a recipient via the Foundation's website. The application is open from now through August 10th. The final three recipients will be selected by the RHISE Cup participants in September.

If you know an organization that could benefit from the Bath & Body Drive, encourage them to apply! In addition to non-profits, teachers, schools, and churches will also be considered eligible for this program. Eligibility will be determined by need, capacity, and geographic area served.

The Women’s Fund event is two weeks from today! 🇺🇸🥧

There are still seats available! Register today to join us for The Women’s Fund Heart to Heart: Taste of America event on Wednesday, July 22nd, at the Rochester Community House.

The talented Heather Tocco from Rochester’s own HOME BAKERY will join us for a frosting demonstration! Once we learn from the master, we’ll sample some of the bakery’s delicious desserts.

We’re also excited to announce that the Rochester Garden Club will do a live greenery arrangement. A raffle will decide who the beautiful final pieces go home with!

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate all the fathers and father figures in our lives and thank them for the dedication, care, and love they show us.

On this day, we can’t help but be reminded of the Foundation’s Men’s Fund. Their mission is to support youth in sports, helping remove financial barriers for youth team sports participation. These men know that a good coach will leave an impression on young athletes that can last a lifetime, and the lessons of teamwork, resilience, and leadership will serve kids long beyond youth sports.

Thank you to fathers of all kinds in our community for who you are and what you do. 💙
