Note:
All newer evs may be charged at home with portable 220volt chargers. Tesla as it happens, makes a very good portable charger that is adaptable to 120 or 240 volt inputs. This portable charger may be used to rapidly charge your EV at home and yet taken with you on EV distance excursions.

Charging an EV at home base:
To make things perfectly clear……..
Understand: there really is no need to install an expensive permanent, wall-mounted ev charging station at home……instead, just have a common 14-50 220v plug wired and installed by an electrician.

All newer EVs are now standardizing to to the NACS standard (the Tesla plug standard & for good reason)
Note/ Many EV sales persons … formerly fossil- fuel only sales persons, are not yet ‘up-to-speed’ on the best, least costly EV charging systems.
