🚨Sunday Spotlight is in!🚨

Everyone meet Olivia, a professional barrel racer at New England Rodeo. She is new to our arena as well as her horse Roxie. Things are finally clicking for this team and they had a smoking run last night during our Professional Rodeo Performance. Cheer them on in two weeks at our next show on July 25th💥

“Hi, I’m Olivia Nicholas! I’m 17 years old, and I just graduated from Bristol Aggie in May. I’m going to be pursuing Elementary Education starting this fall. I started riding 5 years ago, taking hunter jumper lessons, and barrel racing for fun at local shows. I fell in love with barrel racing, and leased my first horse for one season, and then finally bought my own horse, Roxie, last year. She was only trained in cow sorting and had never seen a barrel before. We spent our first season learning & training, only walking and trotting the barrels as she learned the pattern & stopped being afraid of the barrels. New England Rodeo is the first place she ran a full pattern, and it’s obviously her favorite arena. She loves the attention she gets from the crowd cheering her on. This season, we’re adding speed, and hope to continue getting better and faster together!”
