Better Body With A Buddy
I enjoy watching people, nature, and animals grow and move.
Nothing like waiting to the last few hours of the month to share fitness thoughts.
I’ve had lots of “thoughts” this month and many, not so great.
Thanks to fitness goals, I made it through. How about you?
How bout Lyndsey Vonn? She will “Rise” again with all the fabulous care and emotional support she has been receiving. Brave and courageous goals do have consequences that can be life giving and sufferable. We all experience both.
The Life Giving piece for me this February was Chinese New Year 2026, The Year of the fire 🔥 horse 🐎! Talk about energy and forward movement! Let’s go!
Two months and the dark of winter is over and the planets are aligned for us to face what we needs attention.
I have watched two webinars this year of the dissection of the human pelvis and lower extremities focusing on how the body is designed to move. Bones are part of the scenario as they adapt and mold to force and loads (Wolff’s Law). We can improve bone health at ANY age by eating a healthy diet, exercise and proper safety instruction with lifting heavy in order to prevent body morbidities and the goal of moving pain free with confidence and purpose.
Pony up! 🏇🐎🎠🐴, Here comes March March March! 🤗

Did you take your Vitamin D today?
Following excerpt from NPR.
“Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium, keeping bones and muscles strong. It also plays a role in supporting your immune system. Lack of sun exposure during winter months can increase the risk of a deficiency.
The National Academy of Medicine recommends that adults get 600 to 800 international units (IU) of vitamin D per day, depending on your age.
Prevalence studies suggest up to 40% of adults in the U.S. have insufficient levels of vitamin D in their blood. In the absence of sun exposure, fortified foods such as milk and yogurt can help meet daily recommendations. And more than 1 in 3 adults ages 60 and older take a vitamin D supplement”
