WXXI Classical 91.5

This week we launched "Summer in Studio E," a new series hosted by WXXI Classical midday host Steve Johnson. Throughout the summer Steve will invite musicians, who are performing at some of the Finger Lakes classical music festivals, to join him in our studio to play and chat. The series kicked off with Geneva Music Festival Artists-In-Residence and you can hear the full episode at the link in the comments. (They perform tonight at 7:30pm at the Gearan Center for the Performing Arts.)

Next up: On 6/17 Kodachrome joins Steve in studio. They will be performing at the Off The Dock Chamber Festival that Friday (6/19).

Every summer, the Finger Lakes come alive with good wine, good food, and of course, good music. Some of the best musicians in the world come through the area to perform. A few of them will be visiting WXXI Classical host Steve Johnson in Studio E for live performances and friendly conversations.
