Its graduation season. This graduate, Cameron, graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School and is going to Stony Brook University. This is a three layer marble cake with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream and a chocolate swiss meringue buttercream filling 9 inches. Happy Graduation Cameron.

Horror story. I was hired to make a “Freddy and Friends,” cake for a family friend. I thought she was odering a bday cake for her 12 year old grandson as she had a horror movie fan, so I made the coolest, Jason, Freddie and Michael Meyers cake. When I delivered this cool cake, our family friend looked horrified. As we left, I turned to Eric and said, wasnt that reaction to the cake odd, I was so proud and confused?
Turns out the woman orderd a Five Nights at Freddies for a 5 year old birthday party. 🤷🏻‍♂️ -oops. It taught me to always verify what the client wants specifically, dont assume anything. Cool cake, very inappropriate for a kids bday! Sorry Mary Ellen!!!
