One of the things that has been making me smile is I keep getting random texts from friends and folks that I know asking me “is this one of yours?”

I love making custom Halloween decor for people. Why spend a small fortune at big box stores on the same decor that everyone has, when I can make you something that is unique and all yours?!

This custom piece was designed because this awesome couple had two cats that just seem to sit together and stare at you from the end of hallways, not to dissimilar to the twin girls from the Shining. So, we made their cats into that exact thing. Haha. They trusted me to make up a design that I wanted to fit their needs and I was so happy to see how much they loved it.

I love custom commission design work for Halloween!

Edit: I’ve also been seeing this shared around on socials more, so figured I’d share what you are looking at.

Cleaning out the studio for spring to make a better zone for 2024 and having an art sale. Barter and trade, sell some art, hang with friends. One of my favorite annual traditions.
Some of my old prints, some work that hasn’t been seen in a while, some of my personal works I didn’t show, and supplies that need to find a home.

Looking forward to Saturday! If you have some supplies that you want to clear out of your studio, feel free to swing by on Saturday for . If you just want to hang out and make art, then that is also a solid plan for the day!

Spring 2024 | Rochester Artists Create “Urban Alchemy” - St. John Fisher University 03/01/2024

I’m super honored and proud to finally announce the show that myself and my good buddy Richard Colon have up at St John Fisher, in the O’keefe Ross Gallery.
It’s not a surprise that he and I are huge fans of Rochester, so we were a quite excited when we were given an entire gallery space to create and share the various parts of the city we love.
Along with the Golden Frames of Roc component of this show, I’m extremely excited to share the work I did showcasing one of the natural wonders of this city; that being the massive murder of crows that all come together in the cold months to roost here in the city at night. Larger than life art pieces of crows are on display in the gallery, as well as going up on campus and around the city. These pieces were such a blast to create, and super happy how they turned out.
One of the aspects of the show I’m really proud of is the collaboration with my talented friend Tom Snyder from the Seneca Park zoo, where he was able to capture a surround sound experience of what it sounds like to have 15,000 crows fly over at twillight and the caw-cophony of sounds they make while roosting. In this show there is an audio box i built that you can choose to hear an hour of ambient rochester twillight with crows coming to roost, or 10 minutes of peak “Cawsterpiece Theater”. The amazing varied sounds of a massive murder of crows sitting downtown and talking amongst themselves.
The gallery is now open if you want to check it out for yourself, and a large awesome gallery event will be happening later this year as I bring all the Golden Frames back together to showcase the artistic creativity of the city.

Skalny Welcome Center at St. John Fisher University. The exhibit opens on Monday, Feb. 26.
