Copenhagen bridges and planks are often prescribed for hip stability — but setup matters more than reps.

When the knee is stacked correctly with the pelvis, the adductors can help center the hip joint and improve control during movement.

This progression is especially useful for people who feel unstable side-to-side.

A lot of people are told their hip is “strong,” yet it still feels unstable, clicky, or unpredictable.

That’s often due to microinstability — not a lack of strength, but a lack of control.

Over the next few posts, I’ll walk through movements we use to restore confidence and stability, especially for people dealing with labrum-related issues.
