this was for the essence of an object assignment in ad photo 1!

was sooo excited to finally try doing this style of photography, and brainstormed this concept for the longest time. very much inspired by !

i wanted to emulate the feeling of a busy 茶餐厅/hong kong style cafe and bringing back baked goods for breakfast at grandma’s house.

i’m really happy and proud of how it came out and more than excited to share some of my favorite dishes from my culture🤍

throwin it back to spring of sophomore year, the first time i worked in studios in elements of ad to take a portrait!

avani in the studios! cant believe it’s my 3rd year here and this was my second time shooting portraits in the studios using strobes LOL 🥲

i wanted to go for a more editorial look for this assignment and it was my first time using wide angles and fish eyes which were really fun to experiment with!
