🗣️STUDENT VOICE MATTERS: For nearly 20 years, our district has included Student Representatives on the Board of Education — an important role that ensures student perspectives are heard at the highest level. Each month, these representatives visit a different West Irondequoit school to speak directly with students about their experiences. They ask thoughtful questions: What do you enjoy about school? What have you learned? How are you learning it? And, what could be improved? They compile their findings into a report to share at the Board’s monthly business meeting. This year’s trio of representatives did outstanding work. A sincere thank you to senior Richard Maulfair III and juniors Bree Hunley and Rory Hickey for their dedication and leadership. Bree and Rory have now completed their second year in this role and will continue their service next year. As Richard graduates this Sunday, we celebrate his accomplishments and wish him all the best as he pursues his passion for automotive work in college and beyond. Thank you to all three students for your meaningful contributions and commitment to amplifying student voice!
