York Tech Machine Tool Technology

Here we are in Atlanta for the National SkillsUSA competition. Jacob (left) competing in 3-axis milling and Cody (right) 5-axis milling. Competing with about 200 other Machine Tool students from across the country.

We are very proud of this group of dual enrollment students that are about to graduate. They had 13 certifications between the 10 students. Some students earned the HAAS CNC Mill Operator certification as well as the NIMS CNC operator certification. They are the first students from York Tech to recieve either of these certifications. All of these students will graduate high school as well as York Tech with a certificate in the welding program as well as Machine Tool Technology. Many high school students miss out on this opportunity simply because they don’t know about it. Good luck to each and every one of you and we truly enjoyed being part of your life journey!!!!!!

💥 CONGRATULATIONS !!!! Two of our students competed in the state SkillsUSA competition for Machine Tool in Greenville this weekend. Cody for 5 axis CNC programming and Jacob for 3 axis CNC milling programming. Both of them finished in FIRST place for this event. Now they move on to the national competition in Atlanta. We are very proud of these two and they represented York Tech in a great way.
