With all this heat we’ve been having we like to enjoy parks with as much shade as possible! may not be full shade but it was enough to keep the equipment cool and my kids from the blazing sun. It has the most swings we’ve seen at a smaller park and a FOUR person seesaw! Check it out if you’re in the area 😊

Not quite full shade but this park did bring some shade over many areas of the playground including the swings and climbing structure! My little one always enjoys the musical areas on the ground level 🎵
Also, I loved the little grass area behind and how closed in it was. Check it out if you’re in the area!

There were so many trees that you couldn’t even tell it was above 85 degrees 🙌🏼
Bring your toddler and let them explore all the ground level activities while staying cool.

Near shopping, restaurants, across the street from the VB Farmers Market and next to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. We went on a Friday morning and surprisingly the bathrooms were open 🙌🏼
The playground itself is majority in the shade due to all the trees surrounding it and the breeze felt great!
