Last Thursday, we said a bittersweet goodbye to a true Richard's Paint legend, Benny Smith. 🎉

Benny retired after more than 50 years with our company, and what a 50 years it has been. He was one of the finest batch makers we've ever had, and the knowledge he built over a lifetime at Richards didn't leave with him, as he passed it along to his son Bobby, who has been part of our family for over 30 years now.

We celebrated Benny today surrounded by great food, good company, and a whole lot of gratitude. We were honored to be joined by Eric, Eddie, and Debbie Richard who have known Benny since the day he walked in the door.

Benny, your skill, your work ethic, and your warmth have meant everything to this company. Enjoy every moment of retirement. You've more than earned it. And we'll be watching the mailbox for that handmade birdhouse you promised. 😁
