2026 National APSE Awards
We would like to congratulate Sean Tyree on receiving the Lois Curtis Advocacy Award.

Sean’s core message is clear and unwavering: people with disabilities can and should work, and with the right accommodations and supports, they can thrive in competitive, integrated employment and fully participate in community life.

At the national level, Sean testified before the House Ways and Means Committee, directly challenging long-standing structural barriers that discourage employment including asset limits, insufficient benefits counseling, and underfunded Home and Community-Based Services and Vocational Rehabilitation systems.
