❤️ Help Save Outlaw — Donations Needed for Heartworm Treatment ❤️

Meet Outlaw, a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix (44 lbs) waiting for his second chance. He’s shy at first but wants to be close to people and is already learning the leash. Outlaw would do best in a home where someone is around often and can include him as part of the family. Dog compatibility is unknown, so meet-and-greets are recommended.

Outlaw is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and heartworm positive. Donations to Rockwall PAWS help cover lifesaving heartworm treatment for dogs like him while they wait for adoption. These funds directly pay for testing, medication, and the expensive treatment needed to turn heartworm-positive dogs into adoptable, healthy companions.

💔 Heartworm treatment is costly — but completely treatable with community support.
❤️ Your donation gives Outlaw a healthy future.

Meet Mercury — Help Him Heal & Find Home

Mercury is an 18-month-old Lab/Pit mix, weighing around 48 pounds, who was found abandoned alongside his siblings and never reclaimed. He may be shy at first, but Mercury is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who is steadily gaining confidence. With patience and encouragement, his affectionate personality begins to shine.

Mercury is heartworm positive, and his treatment is being made possible thanks to Rockwall PAWS. Donations directly support lifesaving care like his—giving dogs like Mercury the chance to recover and move forward to a healthy future.

He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and available for adoption through Rockwall Adoption Center. Mercury is looking for a patient, loving home to help him continue to grow into the companion he’s meant to be.

Guinness is a 4-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix weighing about 43 pounds who is hoping to find his pot of gold—a loving forever home. He was found running loose on Misty Ridge Lane on 03/02/26 and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Despite that, Guinness has remained a cheerful and friendly boy who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. He can be a little enthusiastic during greetings, so a meet and greet is recommended for homes with other dogs.

Guinness knows some basic commands and walks fairly well on a leash. As he is still new to Rockwall Adoptions, we are continuing to learn more about his personality and will share updates as we get to know him better.

Guinness did test positive for heartworms; however, thanks to the support of Rockwall PAWS, his treatment will be covered at little to no cost to his adopter.

Rockwall PAWS relies on donations from our community to continue providing life-saving medical care like heartworm treatment for dogs at Rockwall Adoptions. If you would like to help dogs like Guinness receive the care they need while waiting for their forever homes, please consider making a donation to support the Rockwall PAWS program.
