From design to production, they saw firsthand how ideas become reality.

👀 We know… we know.
You were hoping for the long-awaited return of Grandy’s.
🚧But that dirt moving around at the corner of SH-276 & Corporate Crossing (FM 549) is actually a regional detention pond.
It may not seem as exciting as the next big retail opening, but, projects like this play a big role in Rockwall’s growth. Regional detention helps manage stormwater and provides the infrastructure needed to support current businesses and attract future manufacturing in the Rockwall Technology Park and surrounding area.
In other words: while it may not be retail, it’s an important step that helps make future projects possible.

In 2026, the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation is celebrating a remarkable milestone, as 2026 marks 30 years of incorporation! Over the past three decades, the REDC has been dedicated to fostering economic growth and development in Rockwall, and it’s all thanks to unwavering support and dedication of community leaders. We extend a heartfelt thank you to our past and present Board members, City staff, and partners who have played pivotal roles in our journey. Your commitment has been instrumental in shaping the vibrant community we all love today. Additionally, we extend our deepest gratitude to the REDC staff and leadership, past and present, whose hard work and vision continue to propel us forward.
