Our Story

*Formerly BDD Brewing*

Founded by cousins Chazz Oesch and Matthew Nichols, Mythic Brewing is located along the scenic Tar River at the historic Rocky Mount Mills. Opened in 2016, we at BDD Brewing had become known for brewing some crowd favorites such as The Abominable Joe Man mocha stout and Squatch on the Beach lemonade shandy. We paid homage to Sasquatch and had some fun crafting some tasty brews but Sasquatch got lonely! Mythic Brewing will continue to put out tasty craft brews from the same minds that brought you BDD beer, but we will be incorporating all mythological creatures in our theme and artwork.
