Week 2 of summer camp ended with continued exposure and experiences for our campers. Last week, they had the opportunity to meet Jacey Gailliard, a professional black Ballerina and this week they had the privilege of meeting and speaking with Janelle Wellons.

Janelle is a black female aerospace engineer who went to MIT, worked at NASA in California and now works for a start up space company, iSpace, in Tokyo.
She has done many outreach talks in the U.S. and continues to do them in Japan and other countries as well.

Many campers were amazed at how she explained the importance of learning NOW prepares us for the FUTURE!
