Whole grains naturally contain phytates, which can reduce the absorption of some minerals. During our long sourdough fermentation, natural enzymes help break down much of those phytates, allowing more minerals to be available while also creating the deep flavor and texture our customers love.

We’ve found we can extend our fermentation an additional 24 hours, creating an even more developed sourdough for those who appreciate the benefits of a slow, traditional process.

To help us plan production and serve you well, we’re starting with online ordering for our best-selling Plain Everyday Sourdough.

Here’s how it works:

• Order online on Wednesday.
• We’ll bake your loaf fresh on Friday.
• Your bread will be waiting with your name on it for Friday or Saturday pickup.

Simple, convenient, and one less thing to think about.

This new option helps us reduce waste, bake more efficiently, and make sure your loaf is reserved just for you.

• We bake all online orders fresh on Tuesday.
• Pick up your order warm on Tuesday or bagged with your name on it anytime during the week.
• Our regular bakery menu is still available all week during business hours.
