It’s Cow Appreciation Day and in recognition we are sharing a postcard of the Hereford Motel, circa 1950 (2008.6.289).
Once owned by Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Killebrew, the Hereford was advertised as having air-conditioning, vented heat, air foam mattresses, and tile baths with tub and shower combinations.
