With our race season being cancelled this year due to covid we decided to get out for some practice over the weekend to scratch the itch. Had some friends come out and try their hand at riding an oval sled as well! Overall it was a great day!

Why didn’t Joey want his face to be seen all weekend?

Went up to Newcomb, NY this past weekend and ran with the vintage group in NY. NNYVSR put on a great show and a weird track.
Joey loved it and it showed: finishing 2nd in F500 class. In the combo class he finished 6th but only behind 2 F500s the rest were way faster sleds so on paper doesn't look sexy but in reality a heck of a run.

Anthony finally got back on his own sled and fought to keep it from looping all day. With such short time in between races he just rode it out and had fun. Missed one final and finished in the back in F500. Decided to play the safe card and didn't try to get under anyone with how loose it was.

Dave had a good day finishing 3rd in his class, he made some adjustments and really improved the sled for the final.

Joey was up first in Heat 1 of Pro 500. He took off 2nd and by time he made it to the Apex of the turn he was off and checking the hardness of the ice with his face. Was able to get back on and from the back row finished 3rd in his heat.
Anthony was in the 2nd heat and had the hole shot but the Dingman boys are moving today and took the lead out of 2. Anthony chased him the hole race but was unable to complete the pass out of 4. Anthony finished 2nd.

Both sleds are ready for round two and joey learned the inside line is not a good place to be.
