Day 7 of “Why We Love Rome, GA”.

As we close this week‑long series, we want to recognize the organizations that help people in our community find support, stability, and a path forward.

We are grateful to Highland Rivers Behavioral Health for providing essential mental health and substance‑use services that help individuals and families build healthier, more stable lives.

We appreciate our local shelters - The Davies Shelters, Ruth & Naomi, The Salvation Army of Rome, GA, and Next Door—for offering safe shelter and a warm bed when it is needed most.

We also love NAMI Rome, GA for supporting individuals living with mental health conditions and their families, as well as our local Accountability Courts (RCMHC STAR Program & Drug Court), which create life‑changing opportunities for growth, accountability, and second chances.

Every day, meaningful progress happens because of the strength, compassion, and partnership of the Floyd County community.

Just two days until our drive-thru produce market at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Special thanks to our partners, Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries and Atlanta Community Food Bank for providing the food. We also thank our member volunteers and volunteers from Garden Lakes Baptist Church and other community organizations.
