🤢 STINKIN' THINKIN' THURSDAY 🤢

"I'll forgive...when they deserve it."

That's stinkin' thinkin'.

Forgiveness isn't pretending the hurt didn't happen. It isn't excusing sin. And it doesn't always mean trust is immediately restored.

Forgiveness is choosing to release the offense into God's hands instead of allowing bitterness to take root in your heart.

When we refuse to forgive, we don't imprison the other person—we imprison ourselves.

Bitterness steals our joy, hardens our hearts, and keeps old wounds alive.
Jesus never said forgiveness would be easy.

But He did make it clear that forgiven people are called to forgive.
Not because others have earned it...but because we never could earn His forgiveness either.

📖 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
— Ephesians 4:32

💭 STINKIN' THINKIN':
"I'll forgive when they've earned it."

✅ GOD'S TRUTH:
"I forgive because Christ forgave me."
Forgiveness doesn't change the past.
It changes who controls your future.

Don't let someone else's offense become your prison. Let God's grace set you free.
