Although our traditional scholarship cycle has wrapped up for 2026, we still have funds available for anyone who recently graduated from Almont, Dryden or Romeo high schools who plans to attend or is already attending a trade school.
Thanks to the generosity of the Koerner Family Foundation, scholarships up to $7,000 per person are still available. The application will remain open until funds are used.
Please share with anyone you may know who could use some financial help with their trade school journey!

We're gearing up to review our third quarter grant applications starting next week but first we want to celebrate the awards we've given out so far in 2026. They amount to more than $200,000 for schools, government agencies and nonprofit groups serving people in our service area in Lapeer, St. Clair, Oakland and Macomb counties!
Here's a glimpse at some of 4CCF's recent grant recipients:
•A $4,326 grant from the Imlay City Community Fund allowed the Downtown Development Authority to purchase and install automated external defibrillators at the Alvin Norlin Pool and Community Center.
•Romeo High School’s $32,000 grant aims to achieve two goals—give Construction Trades students a hands-on learning experience while helping to preserve local history through the Thorington Schoolhouse Project. Grant dollars will be used to purchase a variety of building materials for the restoration of the 1840 school building
•The Child Care Network received $10,000 for their efforts to strengthen the early childhood workforce in Lapeer and St. Clair counties with wage stipends
•House of Hope Ministry’s Summer Youth Program is helping at-risk children in the Oxford area through mentorship, social emotional learning and more with $8,800 in 4CCF grant funding

🎨Four County Community Foundation is now seeking proposals for public art projects. We're joining our fellow community foundations in a regional Thumb Art Spark initiative that aims to turn blank spaces into opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and community connection across the region.
4CCF will consider applications for permanent outdoor public art installations located within its service area—southeastern Lapeer County, western St. Clair County, northern Macomb County, and northeastern Oakland County—that enhance public spaces and contribute to the six county Thumb Art Spark celebration happening in 2027.
More details and the full request for proposals can be found here https://thumbartspark.com/o/macomb-rfp
