While we want the general public to be more aware of Autism, it is simply not enough. More importantly we want parents to be aware of the resources in their community. Too often parents of children newly diagnosed with Autism don't know where to turn for support, advocacy, and therapeutic services. Tomorrow begins "Autism Awareness Month". It has long been time to move beyond "awareness" into acceptance and support. Let's stop just seeing neurodiversity as dysfunctional conditions and instead start seeing opportunities to support neurodiverse individuals to reach their highest potential. Let's not just be aware of their challenges but also celebrate their strengths.

SOAR is now a BACB approved ACE provider! That means we are offering continuing education opportunities to ABA professionals. All of our trainings will be offered for FREE so that parents, educators, and related service providers can also access them. ABA professionals only pay for the CEUs at $5/unit. Our first training will be offered in April so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
