Happy Father's Day!

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. As we continue to navigate the challenges in our country, iScan Medical Imaging continues to support the healthcare providers, physicians and patients. I am inspired by the acts of my fellow colleagues on the front-line in the hospitals and am proud to be a RadTech! Our services have not been interrupted and I remain available to ensure that our patients will continue to receive the highest quality imaging and patient care.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We continue to follow strict standards for infection control, sterilization and the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask several screening questions, as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You will be asked the same set of questions - again when you are in the office.
• We ask everyone entering the office to use hand sanitizer. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and other areas throughout the office for your use as needed.
• You will notice the waiting room will no longer have magazines.
• Appointments will be managed to accommodate for social distancing, and this might result in fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
• We will do our best to allow for greater time between patients, so we can reduce waiting times for you, and to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

I wanted to let you know what we are doing about Coronavirus (COVID - 19) at iScan Medical Imaging.
We have asked our staff to listen to their body and to stay home if they are not feeling well or have been at risk of exposure. Please be patient with us as this might mean we are short staffed but will strive to provide the same level of excellent service you have come to expect.

If you and anyone you bring to the imaging center has any visible signs of being sick you may be asked to leave. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and may ask you to leave and reschedule if this happens.

As far as killing germs within our center, we disinfect the CT scanner surfaces after every patient and our furniture with a germ-killing cleaning solution throughout the day. In addition to that, we are taking proactive and preventative measures to protect against exposure to the virus. Some examples are listed below:
Instilling increased sanitation and hygiene procedures for our staff members which includes per the WHO recommend 20 seconds of washing/scrubbing hands before and after each patient.
Increasing the frequency of sanitizing door handles and other frequently touched surfaces.
Increasing sanitizing supplies to many areas including the front desk, restrooms and other high traffic locations.
Clear and frequent communications with our staff to follow the CDC/WHO instructions.
