Prayer is vital.
1. What does your prayer life look like?
2. Are you truly looking for change in your life? If so, where will you find help to change?

• In order to receive a different result, there has to be change.
• If you're not willing to face the truth and hold yourself accountable, you'll never see the change in your life.

1 John 1:5-10
[5] This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. [6] If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. [7] But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

• If you say you're in a relationship with God but you're still having fellowship with the world and the things of the world, you're a liar.

1 John 2:3-4

1 John 2:15-17

[16] For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father but are from this world. James 4:2-4

• To be fervent is to be intense.
• Everyone has the desire to change, but not everybody is willing.
