The week of October 15-22 2023 is national Veterinary Technician week.

Vet techs perform vital tasks in the clinic and ensure your pets are healthy and well taken care of. Technicians administer vaccines and medicine to your pets, and perform procedures such as laser therapy, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring and urinalysis, among others - with many being difficult and exhausting. In addition, in many Veterinary establishments, technicians also help clean the clinic, walk dogs and manage boarding animals.
