HCS Inc. Commercial General Contractor is thrilled to announce the completion of the new Cameron Hall project, located on the McLennan Community College campus in Waco, Texas.

Originally built by William Waldo Cameron in the 1920s, the home was once a pillar of the community and a place known for its gatherings of businessmen and social events. For four decades, it housed the ArtCenter Waco. But years of wear and shifting ground left the structure in danger of collapse.

This beautiful new $5 million + project was a complete demo and modern rebuild of the historical Cameron family’s original home. At just under 9,000 sq ft, the new building honors the architecture and legacy of the original Mediterranean-style home including cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Bosque River valley.

This project preserves a valuable piece of Waco’s history while incorporating a new space for the community and students to enjoy when hosting events, as well as office space for the MCC Foundation.
