Holi has now spread all over our planet, and wonderful celebrations occur all over the United States. But there is nothing like celebrating Holi in India.

Even though Holi is most known for friends & family gathering to throw brightly colored powders at each other, there is also a rich story behind these celebrations.



More than the arrival of spring & the colors, Holi is a celebration of love. For devout Hindus the focus of this day is on two Hindu deities (often representing masculinity & femininity) Radha & Krishna, & their divine love for each other.
