This past Thursday we kicked off the 2025-2026 school year with an OVP-leader led trip! Last year we were able to distribute about 10 tons of food to the residents of Eastie, 20,000 toiletries, and grew our member numbers.
This year we plan on expanding our healthcare arm with some exciting new plans, shoutout to our amazing chairs. We’d also like to highlight the important work Daniella, our social worker, does when working directly with the people of East Boston.
We can’t wait to share everything else we have in store 🤭

Monday was our annual Harm Reduction Workshop!
Special thanks to Dr. Jawa, Dr. Peterson, Jim Duffy, and the teams from Safe Spot, BHCHP, and Smokeworks who made the night so impactful!

Next Monday Nov 18 6-8 PM is the OVP/HHIE/MSFHR Annual Harm Reduction Workshop! We have several amazing guest speakers and folks from local organizations coming, so if you’re at all interested in learning more about harm reduction please join us! This event is open to all students!

The OVP clothing drive will be collecting clothes, winter coats, and blankets ALL WEEK! No socks and underwear please!!
The collection bin will be in front of Bakst. All BU faculty/students in any program are welcome to donate!
