Flash back to February when the original owner of a condo was connected to us about selling as she was considering moving into senior living.

And just weeks later, she unexpectedly passed away... just three days after Steph and our teenage daughter gave her a visit at the hospital. Ugh 💔

But here's where the plot twist comes in. Her family found our listing materials in the hospital, gave us a call, and we started talking, built trust and allowed us to help them navigate everything that came next.

And everything included plenty of obstacles along the way. Avoiding probate. HOA liens. A pre-foreclosure timeline. Condo clean out. More moving pieces than anyone expected.

But, we took it one. step. at. a. time.

Today, we closed for $12k+ over asking with multiple offers to choose from.

But the best part wasn’t the sales price.

It was watching this family walk away with one less thing weighing on their shoulders.

See, today Carol closed on her condo in Waller Lake after 20+ years as the original owner.

And... as she signed documents today we found ourselves talking less about the condo itself and more about her next place, and all the possibilities ahead.

Yeah, we still have some details to help her with...

The moving boxes will get packed.
The details will get handled.
The keys will eventually get handed over (got 30 days of free occupancy baby to make sure she is not rushed)

But today felt less like an ending and more like the beginning of something new.

And if we're being honest... our connection with Carol is still kinda new. See a few months ago, Carol’s daughter made a post in a local social media forum looking for some guidance. A bunch of people like YOU recommended us, and DMs turned into a phone call and fast forward leas then 3 months later standing here taking a closing photo together...

It’s kind of wild when you think about it.

The trust people place in us, especially during big life transitions like this, is something we’ll never take for granted. ❤️
