I am absolutely done with Toyota. They just denied my warranty because I put spacers on my Corolla and lowered it a little, and now my front tires are getting chewed up by the fenders. Somehow they’re trying to tell me it’s “not a manufacturing defect” when the car should’ve had enough clearance from the factory to handle normal modifications. If adding a couple spacers and lowering springs completely destroys the tires, then maybe Toyota didn’t engineer the suspension correctly to begin with. They were real quick to take my money when I bought the car, but the second something goes wrong it’s suddenly “customer caused.” Funny how the warranty only works when you never touch the car. At this point I feel like Toyota should be replacing all four tires, fixing the fenders, and reimbursing me for the alignment because if the car can’t handle basic aftermarket parts without eating tires, that’s a design flaw, not my problem. Am I the only one who thinks manufacturers should still honor the warranty when their engineering can’t handle a few simple modifications?

How can I lose this bolt. Any ideas…
