This is my awesome daughter going to her first business meeting today. But it’s not just any meeting, it’s to ask a local business to sponsor her Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraising team as they prepare to host a casino night fundraiser. These students are making a huge difference in the world all while learning how to create a business plan, ask for meetings, and present their case to business leaders and decision makers. What an opportunity! This cause is very important to my family. I had to tell this beautiful soul that I have Leukemia and now she is out there taking action. I’m very proud!
