San Francisco is one of the places I go to get inspired.

There’s something about being surrounded by creative thinkers, beautiful design, and people who are building meaningful work that always leaves me energized.

Last night I attended an evening with and Friends featuring legendary designer . It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow creatives, hear about the unexpected paths their careers have taken, and reflect on the pivots that shape a creative life.

It reminded me that while my own career has evolved in ways I never could have predicted, the foundation has remained the same.

I studied Visual Communication and Graphic Design. Today, instead of designing brands and packaging, I apply many of those same principles to the human body—helping people create visual harmony through color, proportion, balance, and alignment. Style is simply another form of visual communication.

Looking back, it feels less like I changed careers… and more like I found a different canvas.

Grateful for evenings like this that spark fresh ideas, meaningful conversations, and a renewed appreciation for the power of great design.
