When a college student with limited funds thought she was entirely out of options to save her "street rescue bestie," RedRover stepped in to keep her little family whole. 🐾❤
We are absolutely wiping away happy tears over here! Check out this incredibly sweet, hand-drawn thank you card we received from grant recipient Anna-Grace and her adorable cat, Binx (aka "Binx-a-bob").
When Binx faced an urgent medical crisis, Anna-Grace didn't know where to turn. Thanks to our compassionate supporters, we were able to provide the financial assistance needed to get Binx his emergency veterinary care.
Anna-Grace shared these beautiful words with our team:
"I wanted to reach out to thank you all from the very bottom of my heart... Your contribution was genuinely everything to me and made the difference in helping me keep my sweet boy when I truly thought I was out of options. It was your help that not only saved his life, but kept him home where he belongs." 😭📧
She also added that sweet Binx is officially back to his usual, happy self and is "very happy to be home" sleeping right next to his 50-pound dog sibling every night!
This is the impact of our RedRover Relief program. We believe that no one should be forced to say goodbye to a beloved pet because of financial hardship.

Blossom was rescued from an overcrowded home where she did not receive proper care. Her new mom instantly adored her — calling her guinea pigs her daughters — but a vet visit revealed a serious issue. Because Blossom had never been fed hay, which is necessary to naturally wear down their teeth, her teeth had overgrown into her tongue, making it hard to eat or drink.
Blossom urgently needed dental surgery. Facing financial hardship, her mom did not know how she would afford the care.
Thanks to our compassionate supporters, a RedRover Relief grant helped fund Blossom's surgery, getting this sweet, goofy girl back to "popcorning" with her sister, Flower!

When sweet stray Willow suddenly disappeared, her neighborhood family was heartbroken. They finally tracked her down at a local animal shelter after she had been hit by a car.
Despite suffering from a broken femur and a dislocated hip, this resilient two-year-old tabby never stopped purring, seeking head scratches, and showing love to everyone around her. The family decided to adopt her!
Her family was determined to give her the second chance she deserved. Thankfully, a RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant stepped in to help cover the surgeries Willow desperately needed to heal.
Her family recently shared this heartwarming update:
"Willow is doing so good! She’s so sweet. She has started walking again in the last couple days. She’s becoming more curious and trying to explore. Thank you for all your help!" 🐾😭
Every animal deserves a chance to heal and stay with the family who loves them. You can help us say "yes" to the next family in crisis by supporting our life-changing grant programs. 👇

🐾 THAT’S A WRAP 🐾
This past weekend, our dedicated RedRover Responders team traveled back to Vermont to partner with Mobile pet food shelf for our second annual pet wellness drive-thru clinic! True to their mission, Compassion in Motion, the Mobile Pet Food Shelf provides pet food, pet supplies (including exotics!), and resources to pets and people in need. It was a busy two days with 800 vaccines given by the incredible Dr. Josie Raezer and her hard working veterinary team from Shelburne Veterinary Hospital. We distributed hundreds of doses of flea/tick prevention and families were able to pick up toys, beds, and pet food, all at no cost!
Our immense gratitude to Trinity Baptist Church and Collins Perley Sports and Fitness Center for hosting our events – we truly couldn’t do this work without dedicated local community members and our wonderful volunteers! Collaboration is key and we are so grateful to all the folks that made this event possible, especially Shelburne Veterinary Hospital, a locally owned Vermont veterinary hospital that supports the human-animal bond, as well as many local folks who pitched in with huge smiles through the heat!

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their stories, and connected with us over the last few days. Most importantly, thank you to all of the incredible advocates and community members who are working tirelessly on the ground to support unhoused individuals and families.
