During their time with us, they explored our gallery exhibitions including ‘Common Language’ by artist and participated in a hands-on performance workshop led by our team! It was inspiring to see their creativity, curiosity, and energy fill the space!

California!!! Bad Woman is arriving in a week!

I’m excited to bookend my 2 year odyssey around the U. S in California, where in 2023 I was a visiting AIR

Next Sunday Nov 2nd I’ll be bringing a new iteration of my performance Bad Woman (Laughing ) live to the Crocker Museum in Sacramento! !

With sound design by and performers and alongside yours truly!

Experience a dynamic performance that challenges societal norms through humor, play, and absurdist action. Interdisciplinary artist Katya Grokhovsky uses movement, sound, costume, and audience participation to explore rebellion, independence, and subversion. Inspired by works in the Crocker’s collection, Bad Woman (Laughing) expands on Grokhovsky’s past performances and echoes themes from Making Moves: A Collection of Feminisms Exhibition opening on Nov 2.
