The community is invited to a self-guided art crawl on Saturday, Sept. 13, as part of “Second Saturday in Natomas.”

The Public Art Crawl will run from 8 a.m. to noon and highlights dozens of public art pieces located throughout Natomas in both District 1 and District 3. Participants are encouraged to explore at their own pace, with the opportunity to make the crawl as short or as long as they like.

The crawl is intended to be a “choose your own” experience. According to organizers, it could take up to seven hours to view all the art pieces featured in Natomas.

Those starting in District 1 can begin at North Natomas Community Park. In District 3, the starting point is the South Natomas Community Center.

The 15th annual Celebrate Natomas is TOMORROW Saturday, August 16 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the South Natomas Community Center Park (2921 Truxel Road).

Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes is hosting this longstanding, family-friendly event which brings the community together with live music, food trucks, local vendors, bounce houses, and more.

What to Expect:
• The weather is expected to be a high of 89 degrees and low of 64 degrees.
• Bring your own blankets and chairs
• Bathrooms are available on-site
• A water dispenser will be available on-site to refill reusable water bottles or paper cups

Transportation:
• Parking is available, but limited at the South Natomas Community Center and in the surrounding neighborhoods
• RT will be providing a free shuttle from Natomas High to the South Natomas Community Center Park, running every 15 minutes
• SABA will be providing free bike valet, sponsored by JIBE
• South Natomas Community Center parking, 2881 Truxel Rd (0 miles)
• Bannon Creek Elementary School parking, 2775 Millcreek Dr (0.5 miles)
• Natomas High School parking, 3301 Fong Ranch Rd (1.1 miles).
